Established in 2003 the company has grown steadily, intelligently and responsibly while remaining small enough to sustain a personal touch and a proactive approach to customer service. With over 15 years experience in site maintenance and repair we have evolved to offer additional services as the needs of our clients have changed. Training and Qualifications.
We know that our greatest asset is our workforce and their health, safety and well being is a key priority. That’s why we invest time and money to put our operational staff through training on a regular basis.
All of our employees hold a current and valid MPQC or CSCS/CPCS qualification and we are committed to developing our talent with continued training.
Each is qualified with MPQC SPA Contractor Safety Passport and we have staff qualified in PASMA tower, Emergency First Aid, Confined spaces, Abrasive wheels & tools, MPQC Site Safety, Working with Asbestos and Levels 1 and 2 MPQC Plant Operations Extractives (Wheeled loading shovel).
We encourage all staff to identify and request training courses they would benefit from attending, in addition to formalised ongoing training and assessment.
Our Commitment to Health & Safety.
SNG have worked hard to maintain a good health and safety record. We have achieved certification with Avetta (green flag status) and achieved compliance with companies such as Cemex, Forterra and Hanson UK.
We ensure that we are prequalified to work in a safe and sustainable manner and are compliant with our, and importantly our client’s, business rules and legal requirements. We do this by registering with Avetta (formerly PICS) who are a leading provider of supply chain risk management.
We acknowledge our limitations as a small business and have enlisted the help and support of Peninsula, a specialist HR, Employment Law and Health & Safety Consultancy to help keep our organisation compliant with the latest legislation. Peninsula carry out an annual inspection of our premises and our health & safety policies and procedures. We are able to call upon their expertise when managing our business health & safety which in turn gives peace of mind to both us and our clients and enables us to provide the very best of services.
